no, i do not think you will be safe at all.
working for them, will mean you'll be part of the 'family'
and will be cut off from the rest of the world, and so be hearing only their words, which will be brainwashing i'm sure.
i think you should report whoever asked you there or offered you a 'job', to the police. be a part of stopping these people.
polygamy is not legal. cults are not legal.
it is easy to get brainwashed. the first part is cutting you off from your family and friends, and the outside world.
lots of people use this technique, including abusers, to keep people 'imprisoned', living in fear, with no one else to turn to.

It's illegal in the US too. At least one place gets around it by being on the border of two states, and not letting any info about them get out so they can't be brought to justice.
They do rape and marry their children to 70 year old uncles. Absolutely true. The old men drive off the young men from their families so they don't have to compete with them for the women. And they try sometimes to get new women in the cult.
But the worst thing is the brainwashing. Don't think you're immune, you wouldn't believe the things they try. Your merely going will accomplish the most difficult task of a controller, which is cutting you off from any help or outside support. It is NOT safe, stay away, you'll never be heard from again and might be married off to an aging pervert thinking you're doing something right and holy.
What the heck kind of job is this, anyway?

It seems odd that a polygamous family would need someone to work for them; the multiple wives are supposed to perform all the household and child care chores. Something does not sound right about the job.
Would you really want to live in an isolated community. Such an experience can be mind warping, you could lose your perspective as to what is normal and what is not.
The family itself is likely to be very dysfunctional and contain a lot of unhappy members.
Finally, polygamy is also illegal in the US, so why support a lifestyle which is against the law.

Polygamy is there everywhere. Animals have the same style. Culture and civilization has brought about some discipline and this practice is stopped. Polygamy is practiced by religion now. Tell me how many women and men are true their spouses? Then they are practicing polygamy illegally. giving away children in marriage at the age of 12 or thirteen is also another practice. Tell me how many children in USA between the age group of 12- 19 remain virgin? So they are practicing illegal sex . Learn to respect any practice as their culture preach. If you do not belong to that, Do not follow it. They cannot and shall not involve in any illegal practice.
By the way, I do not belong to that culture. I am a true Indian following Hinduism. But I learn all types of cultures.
If you find some people going violent it is not because of the religion. Religion does not preach violence. It is individual idiosyncrasies. You should not be afraid to be among people who follow polygamy. All are not bad. Marrying a child at the age of 12 is illegal. By remaining among them you can correct them if you think that what they are doing is wrong.
There is no room for you to be afraid.

In the U.S Polygamy is wrongly associated with Mormons. True Mormons or LDS members stooped this practice in the 18 hundred I believe. If you feel unsafe then don't work for these people. Find a job where you don't have to worry about you own personal safety.

I would think twice about it. If you can talk to someone who has worked for that family, do it.
As for what religion, some people might suggest that they are Mormon. That's not true - that church does not support polygamy and will excommunicate anyone who does. I think they might be their own religion, some guy made up so he can have more wives.

Are you mad!
With that kind of religious belief, you'd be placing yourself in serious danger...
You'd be in a place with no help and no one to be their for you if the S*** hits the fan...
Remember your a woman, and if they treat their women and children in such a manner, then you'd be treated like this also eventually...
Don't risk your life fora miserable job...its not worth it!

Avoid cults.
Any religion that is not open and forthcoming and that breaks the law of the land, is not to be trusted.

Uh, since you refer to it as a cult and think they are all rapists, why are you even considering a job with them?
