I am also a hair stylist as well. All you need are bobby pins for this and unwashed hair for one day. When hair is freshly washed, it tends to get too soft for styling. If your hair is naturally curly, great! If not, you also need a 1-1 1/2 barrel curling iron. Have hair curled first, then pull the two front pieces out while taking the rest of your hair in your hand, choose your side on the opposite side (for volume) and place your hair with your hands up high and just keep putting in bobby pins- it will look sexy yet messy- it works though!

Not sure but it looks like she has softly curled it and then pinned some of it up in the back...loosely. Print the pic and take it in to a salon and see what they have to say. Personally I don't think it looks that difficult to do.

wash your hair, dry it, put roller curlers in and then pin it up. simple.
