As a Christian, it's not up to me to judge whether you're going to burn in a lake of fire or not. I sure don't want to go to hell because be assured of this, there is a Heaven and a hell and of the two, I'd rather go to Heaven. Who knows, maybe if you're lying on your death bed, you'll ask God to forgive you of any sins you may have committed and you'll go to Heaven. I hope that happens for your sake. If I were you, I sure wouldn't be making fun of religion because blasphemy is the one unforgiveable sin and I hope you have enough in your sense of humor, whether it be warped or not, to not do that. There is no other punishment by the way as to how you will spend eternity, other than hell. We all have a choice and the choice you make is the end result you will get. I can't apologize for being blunt. I have my beliefs and you have yours but, like I said above, no one can judge you but you have a choice.

Try two things
1- Ask him to read or listen to the audio book of "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. Buy it for him or check it out of the library for him. If he will read it with an open mind, it should give him some insight into Christianity. Lewis was a English scholar who was atheist and became Christian. The book is based on a series of radio programs that he did, so it is written like he is talking to you so it is a good read and better on audio book.
2 - Leave him alone. You cannot "make" someone figure this out. Don't tell him - show him by being a good example. Seeing the positives in your life will make him want to have a better life. Show him Jesus in you don't tell him what he should do.

Here's the thing about Christians, how do you know you're going to heaven? If God is so loving, why would he make someone like me that does not judge people or harm anyone, burn for eternity? That wouldn't be very nice of him.

Jam 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Pray for your friend and DO NOT shove the Bible down his throat. I prayed 15 years for my mother to get saved. I know another man who prayed over fifty years for his brother's salvation. His brother got saved. Two weeks later he passed away.

I feel sorry for your friend. Just because they dont accept your jesus, doesnt mean anything bad about them.
Your friend has his own beliefs, and he is more than entitled to him. Maybe by your religion, he is going to hell, but not by his.
What kind of friend are you, that you force your christian ideas on your closest friends? I'm suprised you have any friends that arent at your church.

It depends who you ask. I don't think so but there are those who do. And then you have to think is it really meant to be literal or is it just a symbolic lake of fire? Oh there's so much to worry about...

Ok, is your buddy a she or a he? Can he/she not make up their mind? Either way, give them my name. I have the ice water concession in hell. If they mention Yahoo R/S they get half off the first glass.

Prove it, and use something other than "I believe". The world is waiting. Religion is not a joke, it is contrived fiction.
