Is this proof that the Father and the Son are not equal since the "Root of David", the "Lion of the tribe of Judah", the "Lamb" came and "took the scroll out of the right hand OF HIM WHO SAT ON THE THRONE" in Revelation 5:5-7? What about Revelation 5:9 "For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests TO GOD; And we shall reign on the earth."

Doesn't it seem pretty clear that the Lamb of God is not the same as God the Father the Almighty who made the Lamb the heir to the Kingdom of Heaven and Lord God of all human beings? Isn't it pretty clear that the Lamb of God was Jehovah of the Old Testament?

The very expression "Lamb of God" teaches bible readers that there must be some distinction between "the Lamb" and "God". Thus, true Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) recognize that Christ the Son (Jesus) is a distinct person from God the Father (Jehovah).

The Hebrew Scriptures make it clear that it is Jehovah who accepts the sacrifice of the lamb (and by implication, the sacrifice of "the Lamb").

(1 Samuel 7:9) Samuel took a sucking lamb and offered it up as a burnt offering, a whole offering, to Jehovah

(Ezekiel 46:13) And a sound male lamb, in its first year, you should provide as a whole burnt offering daily to Jehovah.

The One sitting on the throne is Jehovah. Ps 83:18.

The Lamb is Jehovah's Son, Jesus the Christ, or the anointed one.

Jesus made his Father's name known. John 17:6.

Yes Jehovah God is the Father of Jesus.

Yes Jehovah is the God of Jesus.

Jesus worships his Father even after being resurrected and returned to heaven.

Rev 3:12. Heb 1:9.

The seer now describes a papyrus roll in God's right hand (Rev 5:1) with seven seals indicating the importance of the message. A mighty angel asks who is worthy to open the scroll, i.e., who can accomplish God's salvific plan (Rev 5:2). There is despair at first when no one in creation can do it (Rev 5:3-4). But the seer is comforted by an elder who tells him that Christ, called the lion of the tribe of Judah, has won the right to open it (Rev 5:5). Christ then appears as a Lamb, coming to receive the scroll from God (Rev 5:6-7), for which he is acclaimed as at a coronation (Rev 5:8-10). This is followed by a doxology of the angels (Rev 5:11-12) and then finally by the heavenly church united with all of creation (Rev 5:13-14).

This is a fulfilment of prophecy. Jesus Christ will sit at the right hand of God from thence He shall judge the living and the dead. - Apostles Creed

The followers of the Egyptian trinity cult philosophy of Athanasius will say no, but you are correct.

Jesus is exalted then put on the throne for a time then gives it back to his father. (1Cr 15:24, Acts 5:31, Phil 2:9)

Makes little sense for the same God to give power and title to another part of himself and then take it back.

The book of Reverlation is about his father showing John, that Jesus will be king, but pagan trinity belivers are not able to read that in the bible.

Rev 1:1 A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him

I take my answers from the most amazing book I have ever read on Revelation titled "666, Mark of America, Seat of the Beast--the Apostle John's New Testament Revelation Unfolded."

"Sitting on a throne is symbolic of power and authority, and has nothing to do with the way worldly kings are dignified and worshipped. The fact that John is writing of the Father is verified in Revelation 5:1–6, in which John again figuratively presents the Father sitting upon the throne, and in possession of a book which only Christ is worthy to open.

"Christ is the One appointed by God to show us how to associate with each other and to assure that we do so properly, so that we will always experience happiness. Thus, it can be said that eternal life is only through this one being, Jesus Christ.

"The original translators of John’s Revelation did not understand the mysteries of God. Therefore, their translations did not follow the truth as John intended. The proper translation presents the truth that Christ “the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David,” was “prepared” and created to perform the work as the overseer of God’s work in this solar system.

"Christ was given all the necessary tools to know what the Father knows, do what the Father does, think like the Father thinks, and act in the position of a God in our solar system. His mission as the anointed and chosen One (a Christ) and all that he is required to do, is outlined in the “Book of Life.” He will only use this knowledge and power to ... bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of humankind."

If you want to understand Revelation, you can read the book online for free, or buy it at Amazon.com. It is unbelievable. 666america.com

The name 'Jehovah' is a mis interpretation of the word Yahweh (Hebrew YHVH). The name Jehovah is a false name made up by a sect and you need to stop considering this name. Jesus is an Latin version as well. The angel Gabriel didn't tell Mary and Joseph to call Him Jesus, he told them to name Him Immanuel.

Father, Son and Spirit are 3 distinct divine Persons in God. One true God. The Lamb is Jesus, Who sits at the right hand of the Father. The Spirit is on the left side of the Father. The three of them are one but yet have three distant purposes for creation.

Stop trying to interpret the Bible on your own. That's why so many people get confused and make mistakes. Study the Bible with the teachings of the Church. Then you will know the Truth.

The Lamb of God is Jesus, who sits on the right hand of God. Lamb of God is used a symbolic term because he sacrificed his life to save others. Just a they used to sacrifice lambs to God.

No, Lamb of God doesn't mean Jehovah. It means the sacrifice that was performed to appease Jehovah.

Jehovah was an angry god that needed to be appeased. This ia a continuation of Pagan concepts. The entire Book of Revelation is about that and similar ideas.

Study the book of Revelation, and you will learn about much of Pagan mythology that is central in Christianity. It is wondrous and holy. Amen.

God can make himself into anything that communicates his purpose. God can be everything or just speck of dust. You place the limitations of your thoughts and your beliefs on God.

God is limitless.

1 Samuel 8:7 - And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

1 Samuel 12:12 And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king.

Isaiah 43:11 - I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

Zechariah 9:9 - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ***, and upon a colt the foal of an ***.

What a lot of people miss in reading scripture is that it is obvious that the Messiah is the savior King bringing salvation to all peoples, including the gentiles, and that God alone can be that savior.

Jesus, Moshiach, Messiah, Christ, Yeshua, Iseous, was born of a woman, the Branch of Jesse, and is known as the Son of God for this reason.

The Messiah can be none other than God since only God can redeem or save us. Only God is the true King.
