If you would read the latest Medical Journals you would see that science now says that homosexuality is likely a choice made by people resulting from their enviroment.....i.e. things like people you surround yourself with, beliefs that a person was raised with, etc.
They also now claim that they have found no "gay gene" as was once claimed.
Homosexuality is a choice........

First of all science is trying to say it's natural...I don't think they've got conclusive proof yet. But all sin comes naturally to us...even the Bible tells us this. We are conceived in sin.
Christianity condemns all sin...not just homosexuality and masturbation. Pornography, sex outside of marriage, pedophilia, are all considered immoral.
We are created in the image of God. We are called away from our sinful nature. Justifying sin by saying "I'm born that way" just doesn't work. We are all born sinful...but that doesn't mean to wallow in it.
Pedophiles can also claim they are "born that way" and I'm sure if researchers were as interested in finding a cause for their immoral behavior they'd find the same thing they are finding for homosexuality. There is a basis for the idea that they are born this way...but it doesn't justify the behavior.
When Jesus was talking about celibacy...he says ..."some are unable to marry because they are born that way..." perhaps he was talking of just such people as homosexuals and pedophiles.
As far as masturbation goes...it is wrong because it is the misuse of sexual pleasure that is to be shared between a husband and a wife.

I know that science has found biological anomalies in homosexual men, and homosexuality is found in almost every species of the animal kingdom. However, I don't know that there is a 100% biological cause for homosexuality. I have been friends with many gay people, and I tend to think that there is a small percentage that were born gay and a larger percentage of homosexuality that stems from sexual abuse as a child.
As for masturbation, I don't know that science has proved that it is completely natural. Sexual urges are completely natural, but acting on them is a matter of choice for human beings. Many could argue that monogamy is biologically unnatural for people (especially for men), but monogamy became a cultural necessity for societal stability.
Catholicism condemns masturbation because it is seen as a perversion of the sex act, which is supposed to be for the renewal of the marriage covenant and the procreation of children. Catholicism condemns homosexual behavior because it is unable to naturally lead to the procreation of children. (The church is also against artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization, and married couples in engaging in sexual acts that do not conclude with vaginal intercourse.) The Catholic Church does not consider homosexuals to be sinful evil people choosing to be gay (like some denominations) but they do expect them to live a chaste, single life and not engage in sexual behavior.
A lot of the taboos against homosexual behavior and masturbation do have a somewhat biblical base. What is unclear in the Bible is whether homosexuality is condemned in and of itself or because it along with bestiality and other sex acts were used in the worship of foreign gods.

According to Darwin homosexuality and monosexuality are caused by being a defective member of a species.
Defective members of species are driven to sexual practices that reduce the probability of transmission of the defect through procreation.
Science, homosexuality is natural and means the member of the species is defective.
Religion, homosexuality is sinful, but, the sinner is not defective and sins are forgiven by faith in God through Christ.
I'm a Christian so I think homosexuals are not defective and I let God judge sinners. You pick which one better represents your beliefs.
You tell me, science or religion, are homosexuals defective or sinful?

Science is a religion as well as Christianity. I choose Christianity which condemns sin not science which says there is no God.

Do you expect Christians to disobey or even question God? Not chance, even if Science says it is natural. I am sorry.

because science and God are not the same. science don't know everything and God knows all things.I have no problem with the masturbation thing, but the homosexuality is against what God says.

So is cheating, vengence, lying and stealing which most people condemn! Right and wrong should not stem from our natural inclinations.

That is because religions lock themselves into the past by their very nature. Science (which is not a religion but a methodology and study) moves us forward by examining facts closely, carefully and precisely.
It is therefore so much better to base our moral judgment and laws on reality not myths and legends

Because they think they have a book that trumps science, no matter what the evidence. But you can make the argument that just because something is natural doesn't mean that it is necessarily good. Some animals eat their young, others eat their poop. Should we not condemn the eating of our young?
Not that Im making their case but that's what theyll say, watch.
