I wouldn't call myself a racist because I don't believe anyboy is above anybody else an even though I'm Black, I have friends of all races, but there's been something that's been bugging me:How Black guys wanna chase around every White girl in sight. I have no problem with interracial dating, but I think theses guys just hang off these girls because they're White, they have no intention of a serious relationship. I would definitely date a White guy, but I would not date him just because he's White, I'd date him because I love and trust him. Everytime I see a Black guy at my highschool hanging off a White girl(unless they go out), I cringe. I know it's wrong and it's screwing me right up. Like I said, I'm not racist and I have no problem with interaccial dating, but seriously. Most Black guys at my school won't even look at a Black girl unless she's lighter skinned. Help!

Your absoulty right and you are not racist. Your smart and stay that way. There is truth in what you are saying and it is unfourtant.
I'm not racist and my niece is black but I don't agree with interational dating or marriage because I saw what it did to my niece.
I'm white and I agree with you dont' change your thoughts because society tells you one thing. Look at history society has been wrong the majority of the time.

I have the same views you do. I'm White, and I don't really see a lot of the relationships you're talking about, but I've heard of them, and it disgusts me. Some Black guys will be with a White girl just because she's white. You don't need to get over this prejudice of these relationships, just don't let it bother you too much. You can't really do much about it. :(

It is the " status symbol " problem, as further is reflected in attitude/values by driving some big SUV with thousands of dollars of wheels and trim but the SUV/Pick Up is totally useless and unusable/never used for the purposes it was designed for....STATUS is obviously the social issue, as with the White Girl matter.

Well i don't really know why they do that?
But i would just ignore it as long as you don't act that way and do things for the sake of doing something.
Maybe some of the black guys genuinely like the white girls also?
