well i do believe them. when i was younger, 15 or 16 until i was 18 i had my share of on-line relationships. i liked them a lot, thought i loved them, but i look at it now i knew there was no way i could love someone i really didn't know. never met any of them, if i remember correctly, one lived in Toronto Canada, one lived in Arizona and then there was one in Los Angeles California. WHO CLAIMED to work for the Los Angeles sheriffs department. i was 15 and he would call me 4 or 5 times a day, my parents were not happy campers.... at that time i thought nothing of it, he would try and convince me to fly out and see him and he would pay for the ticket. but i got a little older and realized he must be a predator and who knows i could of ended up dead.... i kinda went away from our questions. but just giving you a few instances i went through. but my current boyfriend we had an on-line relationship for 4 months before we met, i believe it was love at first sight. and then 2 months late i moved up here, we've been together almost 2 years. so in some cases they work.

I have met many people in person that I have talked with on line. Some chat rooms used to have Chat room reunions. I used to attend them. There I met and made many new friends. Some of them were females. I have been to several countries and I have stayed in their homes. Now in June I have one coming to visit me. I love showing my friends around where I live. I want here to see Yellowstone. I have reservations at different hotels in the park. so we can see much of that area. I want to take her to Custer Battlefield. She also wants to see Mt Rushmore so we will go there.
In late July I have another friend flying in. I will show her these sights also. Her main wish is to have an American breakfast. I have a special place where I go that has an outstanding Ham & egg breakfast. I am taking her there.
You see meeting people can be fun, if you like to travel as I do you can save lots of money on Hotel bills with friends in other countries

When I was in 7th grade, I was desperate for a relationship, so i met this guy online and soon we were declaring our "love" for each other. He lived on the other side of the country. I told my friends about it, and they thought it was interesting. But after a couple weeks, I thought how ridiculous this was, and I broke it off, but it was a good experience. I haven't been desperate for a boyfriend since, and now, over two years later, I'm in my first relationship since, and it's great.

I believe in online relationships PROVIDING once you make contact you eventually meet the person and start dating in person, in the same state, even better the same town.
Other than that, if none of the above happens then people don't know the person as they are only dealing with a keyboard and monitor.

i've got met a pair people on right here that i myself have clicked with and sense like on the spot acquaintances already. (((layla))) (((shell))) that's an remarkable question you ask approximately treating significate others comparable to acquaintances and anticipating them to alter whilst each and every so often not anticipating an analogous from our acquaintances. while i glance at "standards" or "standards" for identifying on a boyfriend v. what i could "settle for" in a woman chum or different chum, that is not something alike. additionally, i will admit i've got long previous into relationships hoping so-and-so will end going out together with his acquaintances so frequently or end screaming each time we get right into a combat, etc. My acquaintances on the different hand are actually not subjected to one in all those scientific care. this question has particularly made me evaluate this for the destiny, could I ever pass out with all of us returned. :-)

It`s possible after you meet and date , it is becoming more common to meet people on line. Don`t only rely of cyberspace to base your relationship or friendship though. The other person could be any age , any sex , any mental state.

There is such a thing as fantasy and idealization, but on-line relationship? Maybe let's call it a virtual relationship.
