Laos, North Korea, China, Cuba and Vietnam. However, Laos, China and Vietnam have really opened up to foreigners and i have been to these countries and you would hardly imagine they are communists.

China, Vietnam, North Korea, Laos and Cuba are officially communist. Until recently, Belarus had a Communist Party majority in its parliament, and some other countries Belarus has been under a quasi-communist government since the breakup of the Soviet Union. Moldova has a communist majority parliament, as well as communist president and prime minister. Mongolia is in transition from a communist state, but given the tumultuous political situation in the country, it will be a long process. Venezuela and Bolivia, with very strong ties to Cuba, are emerging communist states, with the process well underway in those nations.
