Hopefully future humans will all have better brains than the current model. Whether this will involve addition of a "major part" is anyone's guess at this point.

Today's Christians have 2007 AD brains, which are remarkably similar to the brains of, say, modern-day atheists. No parts are missing. It's simply the beliefs stored in the brains which differ.

A major part of the human brain does have to be evolved, but it isn't restricted to christians.
All people must reconsider what they believe and come to a personal and acceptable conclusion, whether it is the beliefs that were drummed into their heads from birth or something different.
With all the religions in the world, including atheism, and with nobody actually seeing any god in the flesh, who is to say which, if any, is true and which is false?

You only have to read some of the answers trotted out by Christians to see that you are close to the truth. It's very similar to the rantings of the followers of chairman Mao, Hitler or communism. All thought of logic and constructive analysis are discarded.
It is not the brain that has not evolved but the brainwashing that takes place soon after birth.

I don't know any Christians.

If you're talking about church people, the part of their brain that has not yet fully developed is the part that enables them to come up with a good explanation why the Bible god, for example, told his chosen people to rob and deceive the Egyptians just before their great holy exodus.

Exodus 3:21-22

Church people need to figure out how to spin all the unrighteous practices that their god taught his people -- and theft and deception are just the beginning.

Question to evolutionists - what happened to the apes that became humans that began to believe in God or gods? If we evolved from apes, what happened to the evolution of the brain that would make these new creatures want to believe in God, to wonder what their purpose was, where they came from? Wouldn't this mean that our brains mutated with an illness or something? Or does it deem more believable that God put humans here with a soul that makes them search for Him and a yearning to find their purpose and place in this world?

I'd rather believe in God having created Adam and Eve rather than me having a problem with my brain because of a glitch in the evolution process from some apes.

Nah, it's a developed skill call "Self Analysis". The minute they're indoctrinated as children they lose this ability, it's sort of a domino effect because it affects logic, reason and their ability to question their own beliefs.

I swear though, I'd be interested in taking the DNA from a group of Fundies just to test it out though.
