According to Mark Chapter16 verse 17-18 it says

"There will be signs for true believers and among the signs - In my name they shall cast out devils, they shall speak foreign tongues, new tongues, they shall take up serpents - And if they drink deadly poison, they shall not be harmed - And when they place their hand over the sick, they shall be cured."

Has any of the true Christian Believers in Yahoo Answers taken this test? Is there anyone who is willing to take this test in front of other people? You can give me the results later.

I am not tempting anyone just quoting from the Bible. I would like a simple answer yes or No.
Whether you believe in this verse.

I respect your beliefs but I do not appreciate off the point answers.

By that test Steve Irwin was the truest Christian of all
He released Taz devils back into the wild
He was multi lingual and could communicate with reptiles, mammals and fish.
he took up more serpents than anyone else.
Survived numerous bites and cobra venom in his mouth.
Nursed many a creature at The Queensland Zoo back to health.
You could even say he was a martyr to his beliefs.
God bless Saint Steve!

You may *not* be quoting from the bible.
Most authorities do not consider the longer ending of Mark to be part of the original text. It's one of the classic biblical textual issues.

I suggest:
<"The Lord knows those who are his" and "Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.">
2 Tim 2:19, "God's firm foundation".
Against which no such doubt has been levelled.

That means if your "out on a job working for Jesus".

Yes, i know of a few that have been slipped poison while they were on a missionary trip.
After a day of cooking and they were still alive, the woman told them she did it just to see if they were real. They didn't know knothing about it till it was all over.
I think she got saved, not sure.
When Jesus SENDS you out on a mission, HE covers everything.
If you THINK Jesus is sending you out (but you decieved yourself into thinking this) better be Prayed-Up!!!
Ditto...........

Thou shall not tempt the lord thy God, That's what Jesus said when he was tempted by Satan in the desert. Satan said to Jesus. "If you truly are the son of God, then throw yourself down from here and your angels will catch you.
I have seen and witnessed many miracles in my life. I was saved by God from death, so was my daughter. God almighty has given his people authority over all things on this earth. All we need is faith as small as a mustard seed. faith can move a mountain, it can divide the waters, nothing is impossible in the name of God, but don't tempt him , which you are!.
