Why pick on Christians. Isn't every religion worked the same way?

Most religions that worship the existence of a far greater power/being have to rely upon faith as evidentual proof is very hard to find. As with all things in life it is open to the interpretation of humans and those with a more assertive or attractive personality can usually get their interpretation agreed to by the followers. Unfortunately we all need something to believe in and the basic Joe Public follows religion for that purpose to give them security in life. As for those who are higher up in the heirarchy of the church well again they are humans; this gives power and power corrupts and humans are intrinsically greedy. Personally I'm agnostic and would need irrefutable proof for the existence of any god.

I think the majority of answers you get to this question and their use of biblical information will give you your answer!
Faith is blind wether christion or otherwise and as such lack basic human reasoning which perhaps explains why the jews still cried for help from their god as they were piled into the "showers" and the gas crystals were being dropped in.
One jew who's job it was to empty the showers after the event said that when they opened the doors that it never ceased to amaze him that they formed an almost perfect pyramid with people climbing on top of one and other in an attempt to get air [survival of the fittest attempt] he went onto say they were piled so high I couldn't understand why god did not hear their screams as in my eyes they were reaching to the heavens.
Alas there are a number of reasons why god did not hear
1 There is no god
2 There is a god but he chose not to help...therby showing he is not a god but a DEVIL
3 There is a god, he listened, but could do nothing about it, therby showing he is not god, as by definition god is omnipotent and there is nothing he can't do.
Of course I started this by saying faith is blind and no doudt I will be vilified for this response by believers who use a non historical, multiauthored 2000 year old pieces of writings to "prove" their point,
Sadly I don't understand that concept as I have no objection to what any individual or group believe in, as is their right to do so. I therefore reserve the right to believe [and share my beliefs as I see fit..........More of a "christian" attitude than that shown by believers!!

Nope. They are guilty of following Historic accuracy.

Who's too say your not the ignorant one?

What makes YOU think that what YOU believe is CORRECT?

Maybe you should accept that no one knows the truth and are aloud to believe whatever they choose, without someone calling it unreliable and so on...Your personal OPINION doesn't really mean anything.

Or is it because the TV has made people start thinking that everything is a conspiracy....Maybe all those wild movies has put a little ignorance in you?

We are guilty of all these things and more.

But the Bible is not an unreliable authority.

Spreading the Word to unbelievers is not relying on their ignorance.

And speaking of God is not necessarily pretended knowledge.

But boy, are we lucky Jesus died for our sins.

If you consider catholicism to be christianity, then you are correct.
However, catholicism, as well as protestentism, have proved themselves the worst representatives of christianity one could imagine.
Jesus always urged his followers to learn, to know, to be aware.
