Moses did not allow divorce.
God allowed divorce.
Why?
As Jesus said: "Out of consideration for your hard-heartedness....." Matthew 19:8

According to the New Testament, it is a sin, so if you are a "By the book" Christian you would think of it as a sin. Most denominations say of course it is not a sin if your spouse was committing adultery, you have reasonable cause for divorce in that case.

Divorce is not necessarily a sin, but it could be, depending on the circumstances.
The effect of Jesus fulfillment of the law was to set it aside, and replace it with the grace, truth, power, and authority of his new covenant church.
The rules of the church ... not the old law ... apply to things like divorce, today .

Malachi 2:15,16"you people must God your selves respecting your spirit, and the wife of your youth may no one deal treacherously. For He has hated divorcing,Jehovah the God of Israel has said."
Matthew19:8,9"Jesus said to them;'Moses ,out of regard for your hardheartedness, made the concession to you of divorcing your wives, but such has not been the case from the very beginning.I say to you whoever divorce his wife except in the ground of fornication, and marries another commits adultery.(so the innocent mate is permit ed to but the who commit a sin(fornication ) is not allowed)
Romans 7:2,3"A married woman is bound by Law to her husband while he is alive, but if her husband dies she is discharged from the law of her husband.so then while her husband is living, she would be styled an adulteress if she becomes another mans, but if her husband dies she is not adulteress if she becomes another mans wife.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11- no adulterers, fornicators, idolaters, nor men keep unnatural purpose, nor men who lie w/ men....will inherit Gods kingdom.

Who cares what anybody else thinks. I think that if two people want to break up they probably should. You only got one life. Make it a good one. Don't waste it with someone that doesn't help you make your life amazing.

are you trying to say 'fulfill' versus 'for fill'?.. if so, that totally changes the context of your question.
