At 1 yr she said "I wub u" but she said "Hello" clear as a bell to the lady in the checkout line at 10 months. Shocked us both. she was an early talker as girls often are, then she never shut up. She's 15 now and says I love you, momma every day <3

My daughter was around 14 months and my son was closer to 24 months. Guess it just depends on the kid.

My nephew is almost three and still won't say it! But, my friend's little girl has been saying it since about 14 months. It just depends on the kid! Just keep saying it to your child and eventually, they will say it back.

My daughter stood at the corner of her crib where she could look from her bedroom into mine and said, "Mum, mum, mum, mum". By the next week she was saying "Da, da, da, da". She picked up speed from there and was always a very "chatty" child.
