I always dry my body completely, by 'patting' rather than rubbing the towel. I notice if I do not dry between my toes then Athletes foot will erupt. Any moisture trapped in any small crack can lead to fungal growth, so dry. No Bed bugs do not transmit disease, but some people are allergic to them.

1. Not really necessary to dry completely. You might perhaps catch cold, or maybe make the bed linen wet.
2. Common bedbugs do not carry disease, although a South American type transmits Chaga's Disease.
