me and my friend have been dating for about 2 months he actually hasnt done anything real heavy i just have not liked how things were going thats another story i think i may have been nagging more so, so i just had got fed up and i went to his apartment and left him a dear john letter on his door i ran into him 2days later he said he was so hurt & he was really pleading the fifth about how we cant end it like this how can i tell if he is sincere or is it b.s.

If your fed up, what difference does it make if he's sincere? If you want to be with him, be with him, if you don't, tell him to get to steppin'.

If you want to know whether he is sincere or not.
2 months is not long enough.
It is better to stay longer with him and see how things turn out
since most teenager boys aren't as mature as older ones.
If he is always going away and not spending time with you he is probably more intersted in other things.
Stay with him longer and decide after a while

You're old enough to know that you don't need this type of complication. At this point in your life, you need someone stable and someone that gives you a situation that makes you comfortable.
You were clearly not comfortable somehow, which is why you pushed him away.
