Okay liberals Imagine you had two tickets to the Superbowl or your fave concert. But a couple of illegal Mexicans suck over the fence and were sitting in your seats. Now being the good caring person you are you wouldnt want them to move right. Seeing youve been waiting for this event and all. But the two mexicans are in so much more in need then you. You would have to let them have you seats right

I like your analogy, but let's take it one step further.

Citizenship in a country is like picking players on a football team. You want the best, most talented, most compatible people.

Getting citizenship can be compared to the NFL draft. The United States has the first round draft choice. But instead of choosing the top-notch college athlete to enable our team to win, we are letting the water boy join the team. How are we supposed to prevail competitively on a global scale with this type of insanity?

We could be granting citizenship to highly-educated, financially secure Europeans who are able to make substantial contributions to our economy and our world-wide competitive stance in business, but instead we're letting in people who (in such large numbers) are just a drain on the economy.

Remember, the U.S. is just like the team that has the first round NFL draft choice. Why are we throwing that away?

Please try to transcend the generalizations. I am a hard core lib and am vehemently against illegals. Just because a few libs are for illegals doesnt mean all are, this is actually one of the few topics that libs and cons can agree on.
To answer your silly question, no one *needs* superbowl tickets..so even if someone was a *lib* as u described, this wouldnt qualify for something that people *need*

Uh...
Lets see here
If two people illegally stole my seats to
a Ramones concert(in this example they are still alive) I would ******* tweak out.
Look Im not to touchy on immigration but still
I think that if you want to come here fine but get in here legally. Everyone has their struggles and by people sneaking in here they dont have to pay taxes and stuff of that nature while we do. So yeah also being American means that you dont wave the ******* Mexico flag saying Viva La mexico and such jeez

I have no idea what being Mexican has to do with jack. The fact that you feel compelled to point it out is annoying to say the least. If I paid for a concert and some other people stole my seats I would be concerned, if they refused to move then I would be closer to getting mad.
Is it because they are Mexican that make them in much more need than me? Is it because of the assumption that they are "illegals" that make them needy?
Are all the so called needy, illegal, Mexicans over taking concert seats around the globe to feed their family's or because they just need to? Inquiring minds want to know.

i totally agree...i would kick their asses out!!! our great grandfathers and so on were not illegal!! the y would often go through Ellis island (New York) to got into America. They had all the proper papers and documents. They were checked for sickness and if they were sick they were sent back. Another problem with the illegals is that we cant check them for sickness and diseases, they just come in and inflict their sickness on the people around them. Don't answer theses questions if you only know half the story

That is part of our problem as Americans, we are for the most part very good natured and want to take care of others but it is now being used against us and for your act of kindness you are the actual looser. I give to charity monthly and I do my part to be a good citizen to the world but we have to draw a line, this is going to far.

Illegal aliens suck. There is no need for them to be here in the first place.

I don't understand the question, is this a question of how compassionate I might be or how intolerant I might be?

Any body has the right to go any where he likes, I don"t believe in political borders, all Americans crying now about illegal immigration forgot that their grand fathers were illegal immigrants to this land !
