It is up to you. depends on what sort of relationship you want. A partner similar in age to share your experiences or one that is younger who looks up to you.
You need to find what you want and persue it.
What other people think shouldn't bother you.
Society will tell you to look for approximately people wthin 10 years of your age, but whos society to judge you? I mean society produced marriages, and look at the divorce rates.
Go with your instincts, I am sure the woman you find, will be the one. Careless of the age.

How young are you going after? It manly depends on the maturity level. Evey State here in the US have different laws as to what is an acceptable age. Indiana age limit is 16 and above, while all of the surrounding states are 18 and above. There are some that recognize ages for women that are as young as 12. But, that is not your question, or is it. I've known women that are even in their later years and they are still too immature for a serious relationship. But at your age, I would stay with the 21 and older ones.

I didnt "know" myself properly until I was about 25. People change so much up until about then that they cant truly know what they want in a partner if they dont really know who they are "themselves". Therefore people who marry under that age seem to have a higher divorce rate than people nearing their thirties because they know what they want in their "partner of life".

26 that's the age all women are truly ready to settle down so we go for older guys. Reason is 26 year-old men act like 21 year-olds. We don't have the time for that.

When I was 18 I dated a 34 year old man. It's really not about age though. It's if you care about eachother, and all that good stuff.
(I'm no longer with him anymore, though... He was acutally too immature for me. Not his age, just his mind.)

Do not knwo if I understood your question right. If you are 37 , and want to be in a relationship with a GIRL much younger then you ; then offcourse society will raise eyebrows. But then you have to qualify in between love and lust. If it is lust , forget it ; if its love .... go for it.
