Our family wishes to visit BKK for 4 or 5 days, total people would be 5 ( including 3 kids ), we are looking for a clean , safe and not too expensive serviced apartment. Any Suggestions ?
Has anyone stayed in Boss Towers ?

I have not tried staying at any serviced apartments, though I have checked them out online and I visited one out of curiousity.

Thanatawee apartments is one I seriously considered it is right behind the Fortune Mall at Ratchadapisek Road and Rama IX. It seems to be a 5-10 minute walk to the subway which will give you access to most places in Bangkok, food and shopping. The Fortune Mall itself has food court and restaurants, some clothing stores, coffee shops, internet access and Tesco/Lotus. The Subway station is right in front. The 2,000 baht per night price was not bad for 2 bed room suite.

Oh yes, the one I visited is Centre Point Apartments in Larn Suang, very high end very nice, and well kept and expensive. They are a small chain of serviced apartments. I put their website if you were curious.

Below, I also listed the link for Thaiwebsites.com and its listing of serviced apartments links.

I also put asiarooms.com website for comparative pricing and if they list the serviced apartment, they have reviews of the property.

Good luck and I acknowledge you for taking your family, I think it would be a great trip.

For reference check out www.bangkok.com for general info and www.thaiwebsites.com click on Main Directory for the table of contents.

ehhh, Boss Tower is ok - nice swimming pool, nice lobby, rooms not great.. occasional cockroach.. and the staff though pleasant, can get confused - there was free parking and nobody had explained the details to me abt what to do with the card.. and when I went to leave there was this entire screaming event - one security guard telling us just to go as he knew we were hotel guests, 2 guards standing in front of the car and violently screaming at my wife while I went inside and paid a 200 baht fee, even though everyone knew that I was a hotel guest and entitled to park free.. you know, the 200 baht was not too big a deal but to end a couple of pleasant days in bkk with this kind of treatment.. well, it didn't feel good... but sure, its a decent place to stay - but there are many others and better..

I doubt you can find an apartment for such a short time, why not staying at a hotel :)
