The only men that beat up women are:COWARDS,BULLIES and WEAKLINGS.
They feel **** about themselves so they try to make their wife or girlfriend feel 100x worse then himself.
The same applies to women that beat up men,it does happen.but men are too afraid to tell people in case they get laughed at and are called weak(not to be confused with the wife battering weakling).

I wish this was so easy. Unfortunately, men who abuse momen (or are generally abusive) come in every colour & from all backrounds. Your mother should know better & not fill your head with ideas like this. There have been many well educated men, public figures, esteemed by their collegues, respected by us all, who are just as abusive as the poorest, illetarate person you've ever known might be.
What your mother said is just as a true statment as the statement 'eat your dinner or the police is coming for you'

no ur mum is wrong ,weak men beat u up.having been in a relationship with 2 different men worlds apart from each other i can tell u men who have never learned to communicate are the ones that lower their self's to hitting their women.

anyone of any race or colour can beat you up, doesn't mean they will. Your mum sounds like she's had a bad experience, either that or she's pretty racist.
