Jesus was crucified on Preparation Day, the day before a Sabbath.

Jesus was nailed to the cross on the sixth hour or midday or noon (Matthew 27:45 – “Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.”). He died a few minutes after the ninth hour (Matthew 27:46 – And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”). I believe the time when Jesus died was 3:18 pm which is equivalent to 88.8 aristos in the Aristean Decimal Time. The number 888, by the way, is the number of Jesus.

He was brought down from the cross before sundown. The sun has not set yet. If the sun had set, then it would have been Sabbath day, a high day (John 19:31). (Mark 15:42 – “And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath,”) (Luke 23:54 – “And that day was the preparation, and the Sabbath drew on.”)

According to the Holy Spirit we (plural) talk to, Jesus was crucified on August 17. The year was 1 BC. I was able to prove this date to be correct and true, 20 years since I first heard it in 1983 and after four years of research (1999-2003). On August 17 in Jerusalem, the sun sets at 6:21 pm.

So Jesus must have been nailed on the cross from about noon to about 6 pm, or roughly, six hours.

Did you know that the Muslims do not believe that the crucifixion of Jesus never happened? This is one great difference between the Muslims and the Christians. Which is true?

It was not stated on the bible regarding the length of time when Jesus was nailed on the cross, however it was stated in Mathew 27:45 and 46, the following: Mat 27:45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

doesn't specifically say in the BIble but taking a look at the actual form of execution, crucifixion was a form of punishment that had been passed down to the romans from the persians, phoenicians, and carthaginians. it was designed to be a lingering death. roman executioners had perfected the art of slow torture while keeping the victim alive. some victims even lingered until they were eaten alive by birds of prey or wild beasts. most hung on the cross for days before dying of exhaustion, dehydration, or, most likely, suffocation.

Roughly 10-12 hours. He had to be taken down before the beginning of the Sabbath at 6 p.m., so we know He wasn't up there any longer than that.

Altogether, it was about six hours from the time they righted the cross until his death.
