I don't believe in personal god such as in any religious text persay. But I do believe in an infinite awareness that comes from both within and throughout. It maybe that my God is the same as your God - but trying to figure out what an all-encompassing intelligence would want to do is like a farm animal trying to understand calculus.

You don't necessarily have to an omnipotent BEING for creation to exist. Consider that when an electron pops into existence, it curls back in on it's corresponding virtual particle before it has a chance to differentiate from a vaccum. Michael Talbot explains this in his book, "Holographic Universe." This theory points toward an electron being no more than a ghostly image of a vast dimension hidden 'within,' which is much more real yet esoteric in nature. Perhaps this is the same as the zero-point energy field scientists have postulated all these years.

Also consider the following:

1) The EPR effect shows that even if two electrons are 1000s of light-years apart, one will change direction if the other changes it's spin direction.

2) The non-communication clause states that 'spooky action at a distance' cannot be explained by quantum mechanics alone.

3) Feynam and Wheeler performed an experiment and showed that an electron traveling back in time can overlap with another and appear as one. Over 15 billion years, this process can result in the universe we see today.

4) Some scientists think that even plasma atoms show signs of coroporation because they are intelligent.

To me these suggest that everything in existence is connected to each other and ultimately a representation of a greater whole. Secondly, that every element in a system is endowed with the same qualities as the macrocosm. ie. intelligence.

By the way, Stephen Hawking also came up with his theory of a Holographic Universe.

For those who say God does not exist the burden of proof is on them. Where is their proof to confirm their belief? They can only say they have faith in their answer. For those who say God is real they use the same tool called faith. God has been revealed to both sides of the debate, either by scholarship or a whispering voice from the soul or from nature. To not believe in a Great Old Intelligence is to believe that an automobile came to be simply by accident, or us by accident. And since we are nearly infinitly more complex than a machine the possiblility of a Designing God becomes almost a certainty. My life would be meaningless if I did not believe I had a purpose and a future, not only that, a spiritual belief, no matter the religion or belief is good for the mind and soul. I am a Buddhist.

I know that GOD is , there are too many instances in my fourty-four years of life, that absolutely can not simply be coincidence. There are a few passages in the BIble that I live by: all things work together for good to them that love GOD and are called according to HIS purpose - I understand this as; all things take place for a reason, I may or may not be able to see or understand that at the time, how I react to whatever event is entirely up to me. Most things are done now for shock value. If you react in a shocked manner, then it only elicits more shocking acts, however, if you act as though something doesn't really faze you - then chances are likely that that will be the end of it. Oh, it's much too late for me to be up and thinking, I'm just rattling on - forgive?

"God" is not real. Im sure of it. There is absoultely no proof of his existense. No real proof. For thousands of years people have believed in different "gods" and now it is considered mythology. This "god" is the most violent "god" of them all. If this "god" is real then the all the gods of mythology such as zues have to be real too. In a thousand years, this "god" will all be mythology and hopefully everybody will realize "god" is not real and embrace atheism.

"god" did not create humans, humans created "god". If we all believed in ourselves instead of "god", the world would be a much better place.

i don't. because it flat out doesn't make sense to me. i don't understand why there needs to be a "creator." i believe that the universe just always has been. i believe good and bad things happen because of the nature of human beings. i don't need any better explanation than that.
