One. Al Gore. I honestly think its a scheme to get him elected as president.

Note: I would like to clarify that global warming is a THEORY. All though it seems likely, it is still just a theory.

3. 1 to worry and fret about the heat and the cost of fossil fuel electricity, 1 to presume intelligence enough to tell them how to do it, and 1 to get off his lazy @ss and change the bulb for the other 2. Plus, the light bulb has to want to be screwed.
But yours is a good answer, too. And correct.

People aren't very accepting of change, especially when it means having less kids, changing your appliances and light bulbs and recycling. Whether global warming is real or not, doesn't mean having billions of people using inventions from early 1900s like the car and the incondescent light is a good idea.

Its just freemongering Check out this documenty on you tube its is done buy the head climitologist at MIT, and the head of the IPCC and the former co-founder of greenpeace. Its called the The great global warming swindal. It seperates fact from popular held myths of Global warming. its 8 parts or about a hour long

It's pretty sad that the self-proclaimed leader of the free world has the lowest automoobile standards, and therefore can't sell it's cars in several other countries, like Japan....

wat you sed is true inna way but the point is that no-one had to offer incentives and **** for the automobile to take over from the horse -drawn variant; they never had to ban the carriage.
So similarly, as soon as someone discovers something better, we'll all switch over to it. Wat we don't need are fear-mongers and ppl coercing us into doing things for fear of some vague global catastrophe.
