If someone has a Neprortic syndrome on one of their kidneys will a transplant cure the problem?

Generally a renal transplant will fix the problem.

However in some disease processes that cause nephrotic syndrome, the disease can continue and affect the new (transplanted) kidney and the patient may well wind up back at square one.

eg. Diabetes or Amyloidosis
