What happens to the person with braces? You could cause them to cut the inside of their mouth or dislodge the braces altogether costing them a lot of money for repair.
You don't want to do that?

First it's assault so you will probably be looking at a trial.. Possibly a civil suit for pain and suffering etc.

Second the braces can and will cut up the inside of their mouth and possibly your knuckles..

It got me a three-day suspension from school in seventh grade and I still have a scar on my knuckles from the guy's braces. I wouldn't recommend it.

I would never hit another person unless as self defense. You hit someone, you may end up in jail and a hefty dental bill.
