Quote: "In its natural form, taurine is derived from animal tissue, usually bull bile or semen; however, the taurine used in the Red Bull drink is produced synthetically."

synthetically? do you think so? imagine drinking bull semen! It makes sense 2 me cz sperms are packed with ATP which carries loads of energy for an "energy drink" lol. I'm glad i never drank red bull in my life. That crap has always disgusted me. Besides, i dont think they called it red BULL out of nothing. & wouldnt it be more cost-saving to use natural bull-semen rather than produce it synthetically?

um no i found this other answer and here it is (not my words but it helped me understand): It may say (or they used to contain) taurine, but that is NOT bull sperm or semen. Taurine (from taurus = bull, as it was discovered in ox (Bos taurus) bile) or 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid is an acidic chemical substance found in high abundance in the tissues of many animals (metazoa), especially sea animals. Commercial uses for taurine In recent years, taurine has become a common ingredient in energy drinks such as Battery, Monster, Red Bull, Irn Bru 32, Mountain Dew AMP, Rip It, XS Energy Drink, Vitamin Water Power-C, Full Throttle, SoBe, and Boo Koo. It is also abundant in most forms of cat food. Taurine is also often used in combination with bodybuilding supplements such as creatine and anabolic steroids, but there is no evidence to suggest that it has any positive effect on muscle growth. hoped that was helpful!!!!!

Red Bull is red bull is red bull - let's not get all animal about it - red bull or any energy drink is just another beverage - popularity, taste, branding, marketing, etc is all that matters

> imagine drinking bull semen

You should try that. Is good for your skin, it will look smooth and silky.

On even better. Why don't you get inseminated by bull semen?
