I am shocked at the stubborn stupidity of you Americans. You're all just like Bush. Insistent that wrong is right.
Well you're about to lose that argument again.
I have asked this question twice already and I cannot believe you people rationally think its a good idea to distract thousands of troops from the war effort and objectives to look for 3 MIAs.

And what will you do when the "terrorists" take 10 more next week? Send another 40,000 troops to Iraq? Spend $3 billion per man looking for them? And when they take 10 more what?
Amazing!.

Please don't say "you americans." There are many of us who do not support US policy in iraq but have discovered that our voices go unregarded by our socalled representatives in government. There is no logic or sanity to US policy in Iraq. We are being carried along on a pointless course by people with no concern for the short or long term well being of our own country or the world. Who can put a stop to this insanity?

I don't know what country you are from but in this countries military every soldier is important. We're funny that way. Of course the entire army is not mobilized that's hyperbole on your part. However, the Israeli army did go to war just last year for how many soldiers??? I suspect you're a Brit. Here is a little history. In the Korean War a company of American soldiers fell under that command of a British officer. When they had to fall back from a position they found that they were missing some of their friends back up on the hill. The officer ordered a general retreat but the Americans insisted going back up on the hill to recover their friends. A near mutiny ensued and the Americans went back up and got their friends (some of them were still alive) and returned to face a courts martial. The result was that it was decided that Americans would never serve under a foriegn commander again. They are just too unreliable. We left a pilot behind in the Gulf War. We found this out years later. If we had found out that Saddam had the pilot in 1992, 93, 94, or 95 I would have supported going to war to get him back and I was in the military then. We try not to let our soldiers and sailors be taken like the Brits in the water off Iraq.

The only thing thats amazing is the way you think. Seems your train of thought de-railed long ago. If you think the troops have just given up fighting and are only searching for the missing troops you are sadly mistaken. But heres a tactical lesson for you General- find the missing troops and you find the enemy.

FOLLOW THE MONEY.
War is a business, for profit. Government contracts pay out BILLIONS, not millions. To arms makers, coffin makers, vehicle armorers, pals of the administration. Check the ledgers, read the excerpt of a 2 time congressional medal of honor recipient below.
By sending more troops out to find other troops , more taxes can be levied and contracts filled ... all corrupt, all government actions in the hands of the elite at the cost of the common brainwashed people.

Always has been, always will be, don't let anyone tell ya different.

I think its a good trait myself. Reminds me of Hal Moore's statement to his men prior to battle in 1965. Something to effect: "i'll be the first to set foot on the battlefield and the last to leave. Dead or alive, i will not leave anyone." If i had to go into battle, its the Hal Moores of the world that i'd follow.

First you need to separate Bush from the American people. If you do not understand why we feel and act the way we do, nothing I or anyone can say will ever change you mind. Your question was not posted for a answer or understanding, it was posted to rub salt in the wounds of the American People. I can only surmise that you are not born or bred in this country, so why don't you go where back where you feel more comfortable with the morays and ideals of your home people

That's what the news is saying. And if you believe that you are very naive. But of course I guess you believe everything you see on TV too.

I think it's grand that we actually care for our fighters.
You know, it gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling.
