The best way to curb illegal immigration?

I think it's to punish the employers severely. The illegals wouldn't come here illegally if they had no job to come for. I blame the employers mostly because they get cheap slave labor and all the money goes into their pockets. Anyone else feel the same?

I've been saying that for a long time. Go after the employers who hire illegals. Fine them heavily. Take away ALL the profit they made from hiring illegals. If they continue, then throw them in prison.

I do not know about America a but here in Britain they are murdering our economy, The drain on our benefit system runs into billions and our hospitals cannot cope with the influx from Europe and the third world . We are overrun in an already crowded country and our Government is encouraging more even to the extent of setting up training schools for employers wanting cheap labour on how to recruit more . You couldn't make it up and it isn't a fairy story . We Brits are just about ready to explode , Do not be surprised if you see a radical nationalistic Government elected here next year.

Somewhat but illegals need to go back and start anew legally to ever have a place in America like the other millions of legal immigrants did! No special treatment or it is a travesty to all in other countries who have waited for years to come in legally! God knows this is right why dont these politicians?

Make it not illegal , as it has been for most of our history .& as it was for most of our ancestors . ( Being a slight smart***, but is an actual answer . ) Right now , can't remember who came up with that , but it was recently, & from a member of a conservative think tank . He studied immigration for the last 100yrs or so. When there were no limitations , people actually stayed for shorter periods . They came & went as the economy dictated , because there was no fear that they'd never be able to come back .Excuse me for not panicing, but there is no immigration "crisis" . The only crisis is that last year was an election year .

I disagree. I think that no should complain about immigrants coming to America to start a better life. A lot of races immigrated to the United States a long time ago. Indians were the first on this land. For someone to say stop immigration is just ridiculous because our ancestors are immigrants.

I think that each country that forces their citizens to flee to the U.S.A. must pay a fee per person. Any financial assistance we give that country should have a $10,000.00 deduction for every illegal immigrant caught.

I would curb illegal immigration by building a wall across our southern border, complete with machine gun towers (which I would not hesitate to use). Also, I would place sensors in the ocean and use surveillance drone aircraft and satellites to supplement the Coast Guard in monitoring the oceans surrounding our borders. This would prevent illegals from attempting to get in by boat. I would also refuse to encourage illegals by offering them amnesty of any kind. They will live here in a legal limbo, always fearing exposure and deportation.

yea lets let all the criminals in from other countries, that had absolutely no background check because they crossed the border illegally. and guess what i dated an illegal when i was 17 he nearly killed me because he thought i was cheating on him. so he got drunk and tried to kill me with a military knife he stole from my step-dad. and then smashed all my windows of my car because i got away. he only got 3 days in jail and 3 years probation. how retarded can our country get!
