i just got a new kitten, and i woke up to him laying on my head, and my head was soooooo itchy. is it from my allergy to him, or is it something i should be worried about, like fleas?

If you did not have this problem before getting that baby cat, yes, it probably is the cause. Its hair could be the allergy trigger. Keep it in a small separate bed and take an anti-allergy medication and see whether the problem goes off. If needed, seek medical attention.

An itchy scalp could be a sign of allergies or eczema. A cat can trigger these responses. Also, seborrhea dermatitis could be another inflammatory response not due to cats. Go see an Allergist and have a skin test done. Also, a family history of asthma, allergies and eczema can tell a lot about your condition.

It could be either or. If you do believe it is the cat I would be check by an allergist or your doctor. If you are allergic they can prescribe medication that will help deal with the allergies. If you want to try like Benadryl or some other over the counter medication to see if that helps you should if your itchy eyes and nose get better than maybe it is the cat, but I would still check with a doctor to see if you are allergic.
