Thank you Brother Chad im glad that we are of like mind and always thankful to see you post your link when answering this type of question.

I believe in the Post-tribulation resurrection of all believers that have died throughout the centuries. This will be followed by the remaining believers recieving our incorruptible glorified bodies and meeting our Lord in the air as he returns to earth to begin his 1000 year reign.

The word "rapture" is not in the bible and is inaccurately used to describe this future event.

You cant have a resurrection before the tribulation it creates a contridiction in scripture. Revelation 20 explains when the "FIRST"!!!!!!! resurrection is.Its after Jesus has come back to earth.

With due respect to pretrib believers your pretrib escape plan will likely be death from a nuclear attack thats your flash like lightning or twinkling of an eye right there!!!

Pre-Trib all the way.I use, I Thessalonians 4:13-18 as a pretext. Plus II Thessalonians 2 : all.Plus Matthew 24 as a guide to what happens in Israel at the same time.Revelation 4 is also a type of the rapture("Catching away " as Paul calls it).Once John is asked to "Come up here" you don't hear about the Church(the saints now are Israel and the new converts during the tribulation)until chapter 19 when we come back with Christ.

Were exactly do you find the word rapture in the Bible. Why would anyone think they would be beamed up prior to persecution has it happened before? No. The Christians are going to go threw the Tribulation except those that die God takes them to Heaven so they don't have to endure the hardship. The rest of the Christians are stuck hear to go threw it refined like fine Gold! Oh ya why don't they talk much about the Beast that ascends from the Bottomless pit AKA the Abyss. A spiritual entity given authority to make war against the saints. Would you want to fight the Dead what are you going to do kill it? I have been blessed with this experience and it was horrid. Would it scare the crap out of you if a spiritual entity reached into your chest and grabbed your heart and gave it a big squeeze? Do you know what lies in the Nether world?

As far as the millennium goes, we tend to agree with Augustine and, derivatively, with the amillennialists. The Catholic position has thus historically been "amillennial" (as has been the majority Christian position in general, including that of the Protestant Reformers), though Catholics do not typically use this term. The Church has rejected the premillennial position, sometimes called "millenarianism" (see the Catechism of the Catholic Church 676). In the 1940s the Holy Office judged that premillennialism "cannot safely be taught," though the Church has not dogmatically defined this issue.

With respect to the rapture, Catholics certainly believe that the event of our gathering together to be with Christ will take place, though they do not generally use the word "rapture" to refer to this event (somewhat ironically, since the term "rapture" is derived from the text of the Latin Vulgate of 1 Thess. 4:17—"we will be caught up," [Latin: rapiemur]).

Peace and blessings!

I believe it's coming soon. I also believe that the rapture of the church will start the clock on the seven year tribulation period, and that the antichrist will be able to rise to power when the church is removed from the earth.
