i put the same tires on my mother in laws 01 xterra .... they will rub the mud flaps a little... i ground off some excess plastic now they only rub on hard turns

The best place is" the tire rack" for tire size advice. I drive lots of Xterrias into the shop with the front tires hitting the plastic bumper while turning. A three / four inch body lift cures all those problems. I use Luke at the "Rack" extension 369...Some suspension lifts also will allow the 31x10.5 to barely clear. Some custom wheels are in order and put winter blizzack's on the stock wheels.

I had 31's on my 01 Xterra. They are the same measurments as the 265/70/15. Just 31's are put into american measureents. They will fit with no porbelm, and they do not affect mpg, or speedo's.
