If you are not having any particular symptoms, I don't think in itself this is anything to worry about.

My eosinophils have been as high as 16 percent, actually. That's not good, but by itself it doesn't mean anything.

If you are having some types of symptoms, that's another story. And you would need to go to a specialist, possibly an allergic or rheumatologist.

The increase is not very big so, most likely is an allergy or some intestinal parasites. You have to go check your stool for parasites and if you don't have them, maybe repeat the CBC count. If the eosin doesn't grow up, everything is great and it was just a little allergy.
Good luck

There are lots of possible reasons for your eosinophils to be higher than normal, but the most common ones are allergies and parasites. Hopefully it is just allergies! I'm sure the doctor who ordered the test could tell you what is most likely in your particular case. Good luck, and I hope it is nothing serious.

The reason for having a blood test? Hay Fever symptoms by any chance? You have a Cat, that might cause this blood test result.
