I know that the neon held the nhra world record for fastest true production unibody in the world if I remember right it was getting into the 8's in the quarter mile using a lot of stock parts.In every article I remember about fwd cars I can't think of one the neon didn't beat the competion.

I could give you a list of mods, such as electronic boost controller, boost it up to a safe limit. Then after that you'll to modify the fuel management system. Bigger injectors, computer i don't know how much psi can the stock turbo put out, and fuel pump. The best thing you can do is join any SRT-4 forums on the internet, see what's working for people and what's not. But most important learn where is your power band, know when to shift, when to down **** how to do it, how to propertly engage your clutch, and practice your take offs.. That's the only thing, and good luck beating the Evo's 4wheel drive traction. I know it's possible, there is a guy with a nissan silvia kicking evos here in LA but it's really hard... You need good tires, warm them up correctly and know ur take offs.

The SRT-4 is one of the quickest 4 bangers...I bought my daughter one and she loves it but there are a couple of FWD cars that will get it in the quarter.

i know for shur 4 cylinder but id say the impalas 5.3 v8 would get it or the gtx v8's might get it but not shur because they run high 13s stock
and he is talking about 1/4 mile and stuff like that not top speed

No, The mazdaspeed3 is faster 155 mph and electronically governed at that speed. made in usa.

Who cares. If you are serious about going fast you need either AWD of RWD.
