Well my ex and I are the only 2 Mexican's at my school. We have been broken up for a while, but since I love being a Mexican, I usually loveMexican guys. So it makes it harder for me to move on cuz my ex and I have a huge thing in common which is our race. Anyone else like this?

It's basically according to your own desires. I prefer any other race other than my own. More specifically, Indian. So it's all about you and what you like.

I haven't been in this exact situation, but I do date within my race simply because physically, that is what I am personally attracted to. Of course there are men of other races here and there that I can recognize as good looking. However, the majority of the men I find attractive are of the same race as me. Just as some men go for redheads, or some women are attracted to mediterranian looking men, I also have a "type".

I have always operated under the rule that there are three types of people in this world...
1. People I like
2. People I don't like
3. People I don't know.
Since there aren't that many people in the first category, I've elected not to chose my friends based on race.

i think the biggest problem in this world is people can't accept other people as "human beings" that leads to a lot of controversial problem. my point is you might have common things with other race to as long as you accept that person who they are and judge them with their personality not with their ethnic group. to me it doesn't matter at all if the person is outside my race as long as that person is considerate and deter minded.
