I agree with you.
When I was in school (many, many, many moons ago), correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation was strictly taught. Unfortunately with the advent of computers, all anyone need do now is "push a button" and most things will be corrected for them. I find this a shame. Before anyone should be "allowed" to "push the button" they should first know the correct way of doing it (spelling, grammar, and punctuation) first.
I guess that I'm a relic from the past though.
In any event, have a lovely rest of the evening.

Hi, I don't think you are being snotty as such, however i feel that you may be being a little harsh on a few people who may be poorly educated , or they may have english as a second language.
These people may have no one to ask for help from and using spell check may be actually more confusing for them.
I know I have come across some questions that I simply can not make sense of , even after several attempts at re-reading them... I don't stress out though I just move on to another question.
Sometimes when I answer a question I will be typing much slower than i am thinking and I will leave words out , SOMETIMES i manage to pick them up and then other times I may not.
It is important though to remember that This is after all just a form of recreation and you shouldn't worry too much about things that aren't really worth worrying about... If you don't understand ONE question due to the way others have written.. move on to the next one that interests you.

I'm glad that someone has finally pointed that out. I definitely agree with you. People really should edit and revise their questions and answers because it would make it easier for everyone else. Furthermore, it wouldn't even take much time to edit because the answers should not be very long. Some people take 9 or 10 paragraphs off of the Internet as their answers. I just believe that people need to think a little more about how they present themselves on the Internet.

" I hope this doesn't sound too snotty?" is a grammatical error because it has incorrect punctuation. It's too bad spell checker doesn't check for that.It would be really nice if you would ask for help with editing your post so that we can understand what the actual question is.

I totally agree with you, but it is not just answers! Every place you look on the internet you see the same thing. It really pisses me off to tell the truth, but what can you do?

Actually, the people who need the most help are the ones who can't even define the problem coherently. That doesn't mean the rest of us have a clue what they are talking about.

I agree.
I also think it is annoying when answerer's give an answer that is way to long and unnecessary. Do we really need a 1 1/12 paragraph answer to this question or suggestion?

I understand, but it does sound snotty and you don't have to read the questions if it's too much trouble for you. Oh, and by the way, Internet should be capitalized.

I agree with you, but I doubt it will happen. In fact you'll most likely get some phonetically spelled answers with horrendous grammar.

Come on, this is a web site for fun and information, we don't really need some "school marm" wanna-be critiquing everybodys spelling and grammar!
if you can't understand the question or the response, just move on to the next one, jeez!
