Your taking it out of context and rewording the Kings James version: Read 5:3 saying that If Circumcised you are obligated to do the WHOLE law.

2: Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3: For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Jesus said that he fulfilled the Law, and I believe tht he did. What Paul did was understand what that meant. Through understanding what Paul wrote, I can understand what that means too. Not many people really understand what Paul was saying, even Christians. This Christian understands because I noticed that Jesus and Paul were on the same page. It's not my fault people don't get it. I hope that will change, but I'm not holding my breath. Concepts to understand: 1) What Jesus meant by fulfilling the law. 2) What Paul was telling the Galatians, Romans, and Hebrews about the Law and Jesus Christ. 3) The reason why the Law was in place in the first place. 4) The Reason why they are called the Old Testament, and the New Testament. 5) What Paul meant by a testator, and the reason for a testator in relation to the Old and New Testament. 6) The difference between James and Paul's messeages. 7) What the Judaizer's were trying to preach. 8) What is meant by 'Types and Shadows of things to come.' 9) What ritual circumcision represented. (The Law) 10) Why Paul withstood Peter to his face.

And?

To be precise, the new covenant was made with God, not between the Church and Paul. Just out of curiosity, what was the New Covenant that Jesus instituted?

And Paul was talking to Gentiles, not to Jews. Since when did the covenant made with Abraham include the Gentiles?

Actually we Gentiles are grafted in Jews.Crying Abba Father. We are then adopted Jews.Paul didn't create his own covenant he was called to be an Apostle to the gentiles. We were considered dogs and had no part in salvation til Paul started preaching to us.He had to with stand Peter on it til God put Peter in a trance and told him not to call anything common or unclean that He had cleansed. That cleansing was a result of the blood sacrifice on the cross. The Word says that God shed His own blood.Jesus was the fulfillment of the law.The Word also says that Jesus died for All.

God can say the law is only for so long, and then a higher law comes
(remember moses broke the first plates? that was a Higher law, on the new ones it said a tooth for a tooth, but later, you are to turn the other cheek, and give him that taketh you cloak your (something clothes-y) also)
They were not ready, now that christ has come, things changed as they said they would. That is one of them, circumcision is what they did before christ, now christ is the new law, so to say, I would need to look it up more to give exacts. But circumcision was to make them clean, now christ has come and is the one to whom your sin is cleansed by.
Those before also are cleansed by him, but they were told a diffrent way, for a reason God knows.
I am not 100% sure of the specifics
but I do know that it is true that laws changed when Jesus came and fufilled his part.

Interesting...never thought of this before...

The new covenant is a blood covenant...the one Jesus made with God by sacrificing himself. Paul's opinion was that circumcision was a "type" of the old covenant that people could get lost in.

The old covenant simply covered sin and kept you out of hell. The blood of Jesus gets you into heaven.

Paul wants you to see the difference by making this dramatic statement.

Paul was an apostle called by Jesus Christ. There is no discrepancy between anything in the Old Testament, anything Jesus taught, or anything Paul preached.

No. At the Council of Jerusalem, it was decided that there would be no need for circumcisions to enter the Church.

So what is your point? It mean that if they let themselves be circumcised...then they are Jews and not Christians. It's the symbolism. As usual...
