No, it is stated that not even God can create something from nothing and that everything including us were matter or intelligences before creation. What makes us different from God is that he was more of an advanced intelligence and learned to create matter into whatever was needed. If you read the bible, he created Adam from the earth (dirt) and Eve from Adams rib. See he had to use some type of matter to make something. The universe is full of matter and is creating at all times.

Well, he created the universe in six days. So that gives us a measure of six/eight time. Then, on the seventh day he rested.
So, okay, it's two measures of 4/4 time, with a rest on the fourth beat of the second measure.
Of course, he had to snap his fingers. Probably had a foot tapping too.

Quantum physics has come up with the "String Theory". It postulates that all matter, everything that exists, consists of "strings" of vibrating energy. That the arrangement of these strings produces the various forms and types of all matter. The creation account describes God as "speaking" everything into existence. Sound being a vibrating energy... what conclusion would you derive?

Science has always been man's attempts to explain and understand the things of God.

No, He worked 6 days creating and on the 7th day He rested. Remember God's day is a thousand years where one of ours is only one day. Pops

The Bible says that he spoke it into being. Wouldn't that be cool if we could just peak something into being? I just bought a new car....it would have saved me a lot of money if I could have just spoken it into being. hahahaha
