Most of them are scams and hardly ever pay.

No company can afford to pay US$1-5 for simply stuffing envelopes. You will be asked to pay an upfront fee (usually more than US$20) and receive a starter package. However, the starter package will only contain instructions on advertising the envelope stuffing business. Participants in this scam are now legally prosecuted and fined if found guilty.

Most all working from home jobs like stuffing envelopes are scams. The only way you are going to make money working online/from home is if you are working for yourself.

One of the easiest and fastest ways to make money online is to join a free affiliate program, and then promote the program using pay-per-click (PPC) search engine advertising. With practice, the whole income system can be set up in about 60 minutes. Once your income system is up and running, you can virtually forget about it, because it will generate a continuous stream of income for you 24/7, month after month.

The Internet is becoming increasingly competitive, with more and more people earning their living online. However, it is still entirely possible for you to earn several hundred dollars each month with no further effort, after setting up your income system. But it is more crucial than ever before, that you do it right if you are going to make a profit.

P.S. Online "jobs" are almost non existent, and most all of those you will find are scams. Far better to set up your own business.

P.P.S. A 15 year old Mexican girl used this system to earn $1107 in her first month.

If it sounds to good to be true, then that's a scam. Anybody that promises quick money is a scam. If the job is so easy that a 2 year old can do it, that's a scam.
If you can't get any contact information from that company, then that's a scam.

I'm a stay at home mom and i've been there and done that.

I have an awesome opportunity that is totally legit. But don't take my word for it, just take a look for yourself.
It will tell you where we're from, who we are and what we do. Then decide for yourself.

I remember reading an article about stuffing envelopes at work. I don't remember the name of the company but you'd be working for the Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny and it had something to do with selling a bridge in New York that was for sale.

Not not only that work at home means there are many kinda jobs like data entry, data processing and much much more.... also there are many home based jobs available on net but the thing is that there also many spammers among them too. so all u need to do is NEVER PAY ANYONE ANYTHING AT ALL FOR A JOB YOU DO FOR THEM AND NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING THEY MAY SOUND. COZ THEN THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO BE A SCAM.
anyways i do a home job without paying anyone anything atall and earn a satisfactory income too.for more details on the job please visit the following sites. i hope you find the job you are looking for real soon. all the best!!!

My hesitations are: any large legit company has a mail machine that can do all that (Pitney Bowes makes nice ones), and I've seen some that want you to pay to participate and that raises all sorts of red flags.
