I live in a neighborhood, a decent one too that's quite clean and pretty safe each day. The majority of the neighborhood is of a latino, hispanic heritage culture - and it's not that I have an issue with that, it's that they party for days with the music cranked up, their kids running around the street without supervision, and dump their stuff in our backyard [i.e. like beer cans, plates]. Sometimes it's as early as 9 in the morning and I lose sleep.

If you can't move out of the town, at least for the time being, what would be the best way to handle this without looking like a fool? [like opening the windows and playing my music at the same ear-shattering level, lol]

Ouch.. Nothing like living next to trash.. I don't understand why they have to throw their garbage in the lawn and part the broken vehicles in the yard.

As for the noise, yea, if you say anything, your going to open a can of workms and piss them off, world war 3 will start.. so dont do that either..

I say get your sh_t together so you can move when you can afford it.....

You won't change them......

The worst thing that can happen to a person is a bad neighbor. I would just call the police.. and if that didn't work, I'd try to move. I don't think anybody has the right to bother their neighbors.
As the saying goes: "their rights end where yours begin".

I feel your pain, I live in pretty much the same situation. I deal with it by just making friends with them and then I just asked them to turn it down. Worked pretty well.
