Jeff saved his car at least three times and it seems like that is going to be his 600 car. His tire went down and you can tell where it occured at the valence on the left side. From 20th to 11th is pretty good in 17 laps. Jimmie used up all his tires within six laps but oh well.

Im surprised he didnt get into the wall on a couple of them. He obviously had a good car. Great job for Harvick. We will see next week.

Jeff has always been good at getting his car to the front and keeping it on the track. Too bad he got a flat tire though, would have been a contender for sure. Good news is that he is looking good for a win next week at Lowe's. If nothing else at least he got the practice and didn't lose any points. Made a great effort to finish good. If there would've been more laps he would've gotten the lead. Go Jeff Gordon !!!

I wasn't surprised to see him keep it out of the wall several times, he is after all one of the best out there. As for the all star being any indication of how the 600 will end up FORGET ABOUT IT. The all star was ran in 20 lap segments with the chance to pit between everyone of them...The 600 will be in 40-60 lap segments barring cautions..running great in short segments doesn't always mean you will run that way in a long segment.

Harvick did do a great job. I was actaully suprised because my thoughts were that it would be Jimmie or Tony win. I'd just like to see Kevin do that in a points race.
