how should i talk to this guy in my youth group that i like?
whenever he starts to walk over to me. my face gets all red and i walk somewhere else and then act like i never saw him walking towards me.

then later i hate myself for doing that because he probably wanted to talk to me.
ugh.
its so complicated!
any suggestions?

The next time he approaches you, stay rooted to the spot (this is very important), make eye contact and smile then say hi. The hi must be said very casually so practice at home before hand just in case he was just passing you by and not actually coming toward you to start up a conversation. This way you don't look to eager.

Get over the fear of being shy around him. If you have other people that you can hang around in your youth group just get them all together so that way you don't just have to be with him all by yourself. Once you do this a couple of times things will get better. Or just have a close friend or someone go with you to talk to him. I was this way at one point to and I had a cousin that helped me out alot.

If it's youth group you probably have frequent group conversations. You can reply to something he said that you agree with, and then maybe talk about it later.

Keep it up and he'll give up. If your too shy to go to him, at least stay and let him approach you. He might ask you out, or might want to talk about something related to the group. Keep a friend near to help.

well why dont you just stay there and talk to him.
you never know what he might say.
and if you keep walking away then he might just stop wanting to talk to you.

If you really liked him, you wouldn't have had a problem talking to him.

if you can tell him how you feel ! but you cant write him a note ! if he really really liked you he would think it is cute that you get red around him ! that's my advise .
