Let's see, have your dog neutered or let it father 2 dozen pups that people don't take care of properly and they get run down in the street.

Which causes the most harm?

I think it is a blessing. I know that our family dog gets a little, should I say horney at times and will attack my wife's back side. Our puppy is not neutered, but I believe if he was he would not be trying to get my wife to have his half dog/human babies.

Hope this helps you out!

Nope, do what you need to do.
You must obey the laws of your community, and most communities have laws about pets which require you to spay or neuter in order to avoid over-population of unwanted animals.

Would you have surgery yourself?

No it's not a sin. If you have dogs like I do you may be saving their life. My dogs use to like to run and hang out with the wrong crowed. Not they are "fixed" and they don't run anymore.

I don't believe it is.
Personally, I think it's a good idea to have your pets spayed/neutered 'cause it prevents them from having unwanted puppies.

It's a sin if you don't! There are so many unwanted pets including pure-breds. A lot get gassed. Wouldn't it be better to never have them? I was "fixed".

well according to OT rulings...if you were wounded in the stones or had your privy member cut off...you couldn't get to heaven. But I don't think dogs go to heaven anyway so...nah I don't guess so.
