If someone has exceptional ability or has inherited a high IQ or has a God-given talent it shouldn't be held against him/her.

They both deserve respect if their actions are worthy of respect.

the first. The same with anything else: The person who works hard to make a good living deserves more respect then the person born into a rich family.

I definitely think the person who work hard to become something like a genius. I believe that when its natural sometimes it is abused and it is a comfort zone for some people to think they should automatically be glorified. However, someone who works hard, is someone who is trying to make it in this world. Hard work is always applauded!

Naturally gifted. Frankly, for some sort of poltically correct reason, not enough respect is given to natural talent.

They both deserve your respect. I think it should be based on how they treat you and if they act worthy of your respect.

I think whether they are born smart or work their way into the skills--it doesn't matter. What matters is how they act and if they are deserving of respect.

You can't work your way to being a genius. Genius is determined by IQ, which is set at birth. Success, of course, depends on hard work. Whatever talents and intelligence you have, they can rarely be turned into anything worthwhile without hard work.

It doesn't matter what kind of gift you have or how you got it ... what matters is how you use it. Both deserve equal respect if they're doing good things ... neither if they are doing bad things.
