Our belief in praying to Our Lady- this is VERY important because it gives us someone to pray for us. Our Lady's intercessions go a long way, more so than just us praying. Because of Our Lady's prayers, that's another person, and a very powerful intercessor praying for us.

The Holy Eucharist- The Holy Eucharist is important because it's the Body and Blood of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He said it is in John during the Last Supper (sorry, I'm not sure exactly where in John He said "This is My Body" and "This is My Blood.") It helps us because we must be prepared in both body and spirit to recieve Our Lord.

Confession- We go to Confession because that's how Jesus told us to do it. Once we have admitted and confessed our sinfulness, we accept God's Divine Mercy which He constantly offers to us. We just have to be willing to accept it.

These are three of the controversial points I can remember (the points that Protestants don't agree with.) If I forgot any, please ask (either as the questioner or as an answerer) and I'll edit my answer.

This is not a good forum for detailed answers but the Eucharist is the focus of Catholic worship where we are at the foot of the cross at the one sacrifice for all through the miracle of our Lord and Savior.

Second as another poster said it is the prayer life of Catholics that is of great importance also where we freely ask others of the Church to pray for us and not just members of our own congregation but also the members of the Church Triumphant like St. Mary.

And third of all, it is the Sacraments which help us to endure to final salvation through the deliverance of God's grace. Lastly, it is the belief in the One, Holy, Apostolic, Church as the Church created by Christ and the apostles that is the enduring Church spoke of in Holy writ which says that the Church is the "bulwark and ground of the truth".

In Christ
