im 15 years old and i weigh 115 and im 5'7 i have started lifting weights around 45-50 pounds and i wanna increase but im afraid that it might harm my growth spurt :( any advice on what to do?

there is absolutely zero medical evidence that supports statements that resistance training retards the growth of the human skeletal system in young adults.

the only bad exercise is the one that is performed improperly. and in terms of resistance training you never want to substitute weight for form. injury only occurs when the use of proper form is neglected
