Get over this! The old testament was known as the old covenant. They lived under the Law because Jesus had not come yet. In the New testament, because of Jesus Christ, we live under Grace. You, along with all christians, should be ashamed that we are barely shining His light to a hell-bound world. Don't worry about what used to be. Make the best of what He's giving you now. Tomorrow is'nt promised.

Not ashamed at all compared to all the Muslims that kill in the name of Allah in the present. Why is it only Christians are singled out all the time? Usually it is people that are a waste of space here on earth that ask questions like this.

Read OT allowed from the beginning to end. Do not just pick up what you think is best to discredit the Old Book. If you cannot understand the wisdom in it, then the Book is not for you. You have be born again to another lifetime with which I will ask you to choose to be Jewish so would understand.

On the contrary, I invoke them now. If we don't kill the muslims they will kill us. Where do you stand on that?
And if anyone denies that, why are they not fighting against the extremists in their own ranks? America killed John Brown, who was fighting for the freedom of slaves, and Tim McVeigh who was just a nut, and Dahmer, and many more. They were criminals just like the terrorists. We take care of our own fanatics, what are the muslims doing? NOTHING> God knew what He was doing then, and He knows what must be done now. This is not contrary to truth or God, but honors Him. He hates idolatry and murder and the muslims are guilty of both. Wake up, sleeper.

You obviously never heard one of the ten commandments in the Hebrew scriptures: You shall not kill.
But I am not going to go into detail with this as you don't care about it. The question is a flamer not a sincere ask.

I am ashamed of the people in the Old Testament, who knew God so well, but denied Him so consistently.
