Mike Tyson, converted to Islam when he was in prison for rape. The Black Muslim Brothers probably talked to him because they thought they could help him be a better person and improve his behavior. He probably saw how they acted and wanted to emulate them.

I heard that, he was in prison, and he read some books about Islam, then he decide to convert to this religion. Why, I think he found in Islam what he lost in his past life, he understood that religion. I am inviting you to read a book wrote by Dr. John L. Esposito, its name is "The Islam Threat: Myth or Reality". I think it's a great book. Dr. Esposito is not Muslim, but he is objective in treating the topic of this book.
