Is there a place that teaches you to surf in jacksonville fl. I once saw saltwater cowgirls, but their website is no longer up. I am 26 and don't want to look all out of place, is that too old to learn how to surf???? please be honest. thanks!

As for your second question... Here in Hawaii people of all ages come to learn how to surf when there on vacation. Theres nothin to be embarrased about, its just a time to have fun.

nah thats not to old only ur going to be recognized as a beginner whether u like it or not(Floridian Speaking). I'd prob google "learn surfing in Jacksonville Florida" Good Luck :)

look in the back of the surfer and surfing mags. there should be a grip of camps and schools to hook up with. watch
the original endless summer movie and get a long board and have some fun. remember to respect the locals and be mellow and cool.

surf in florida is notoriously inconsistent, the best time for surfing in jacksonville is in mid january. summers are flat as a pancake.
