Yes, God unites His followers.

I would say that one or both groups are not thoroghly studying & praying about what they do/believe. There are many Bible texts to support most anything someone wants to believe. But, they whole topic needs to be studied before an opinion is formed. Sometimes a pastor will only throw some of the verses out in a sermon. People need to dig deep themselves, too. There are many people that don't read their Bibles - just go to church and think that's enough.

Or, if the people have been given light and don't follow what they've been given new truths will not be opened for them.

Also, if we have iniquity in our hearts God won't answer our prayers (Psalm 66:18) but I'm sure Satan would like us to believe our prayer are answered. If we aren't true to ourselves or to God then we CAN be deceived.

It's so important to follow what you know to be true, study the Bible, and pray about the decisions you make.

Some of those so-called Christian groups are deceptions from hell.......the true Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit

ie. any group that denies Christ's diety is false, and has not the Holy Spirit
-any group that believes they can become gods of another planet has not recognized the true diety of Christ as the sole son of God, and has not the Holy Spirit

I'm sorry I don't know many others since I study the word of God and not man.

satan stays Very Busy keeping the Children of GOD divided in their DOCTRINE's.

If you are Born-Again, your still in the Body of Christ no matter how much the "Winds of Doctrines" blow you apart from your Other Brothers and Sisters.

satan does this dividing because of a Spiritual Law:
One can send 1000 away.
Two can send 10,000 away.
The Power goes up by 10 every time you add another believer.
Thats why satan works so hard to divide us.

The same reason opposing forces in a war say:

Because different parts of the Body of Christ perform different functions.
What's good for me may not be good for you. When everything in YOUR body is functioning properly, you're healthy. When things get out of wack, you're not.
Trimming my nails is good.
Trimming my fingers is not.

If they find something that they dont like in one area they start a whole new church, they pick and choose what they want to believe.
