It's a holdover from Olde English, where it was common to use the upper case to refer to royalty, and of course God, as He was supposedly the "King of Kings."
Being raised by an English teacher, this became habit for me. Can I still be considered a heathen anyway? Pleeease?

If God is the god of the Bible, then He is a he.
He refers to himself as a "manly person of war".
If there is a God, and He is the god of the Bible, then showing Him respect by capitalizing His name and pronouns referring to Him would seem to be an excellent policy.
If there is no God, the point I make and the point you make is moot.

Yes, pronouns are not to be capitalized. It makes me think the person flunked out of 4 grade English.

That depends. In my weirdest dreams, my girlfriend uses capitalised "he's" when she writes about me.
But besides that, I agree.

The Bible says there is no gender in heaven but refers to God and all other heavenly creatures as 'He." What's the big deal? God says MEN were made to be dominant but in a nie way. He speaks of himself as a male. We just call him what he wants to be called. In a way, calling him 'she' would offend him, as calling YOU as "him" would offend you. (Assuming you're female)

Haven't you noticed that some of them don't even capitalize the first letter in a sentence.....I guess they can't find "shift" in the scriptures or think a "shift" is a dirty sin.

Yes. You should skip all formal education and just go with that. Critical thinking skills are over-rated anyway.
