He told me that he was sorry and that he was a dick and that he shouldnt of done it...but i have no clue what to do what if he doesnt tell me when he does it the next time?Help me please.

Tell him how you feel about the situation as far as the drugs and alchol and then simply state that you care about him and only want the best for him. Let him know that if he needs help not to hesitate to ask and that you are there for him. You have to make it a win win situation. Be very suportave and let him know that you will not totally disown him if he does it again that way he will be more apt to tell you the next time he slips. Chances are he is just experimenting and there is nothing to it. Stand by him and don't be to controlling let him know it is ultamately his decision. Love yourself and respect others

You say good bye loser to a guy who'd rather do drugs and drink.
If for no other reason than you can't get a job at Home Depot without passing a drug test. So that doesn't leave much in the way of a future for the two of you if drugging is what he prefers.

How old are you? Not old enough to NOT fall for his lame sob story, obviously. He knows you don't like it when he does that stuff. He did it anyway. "I'm so sorry, I'm a dick. I shouldn't have done it". Well, if he meant it, he wouldn't be saying sorry because he wouldn't have done it. He should be able to do what he wants (w/o harming other people), and if he cared about you enough to change, then he would have changed.

Whoa. Where's the honesty and trust? If he knows you don't like him doing those things, it doesn't mean he will stop/ You will just look like a mother figure to him and he'll shut you out of that new secret part of his life. Bad way to go. Sorry, I'd get rid of him before you get hurt.

you gotta ask yourself why is it so important that he does what you tell him? if he does it and you don't know about it, isn't that the same as if he didn't do it at all? you gotta let him make his own mistakes, if he feels like he's under your thumb he'll quit you.

well you can not stop a person from doing what they do...If you cant except him for who he is and what he does ..you should really find someone else..because more than likely if he wants to do it..he will do it behind your back..
